Paul Weaver flew into Malaga on Monday afternoon and Tuesday, shrugging off his 'jet lag', Paul 'toyed' with a group of 80 diners with his Elvis & Tom Jones tribute.

As you can see by the pictures everyone enjoyed the 'whole experience' - A 3 course meal specially prepared by Chef Michael and excellent entertainment.

One restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner offers a stunning sea view - without the heat and sand so characteristic of being on the frontline beach.

Vista del Mar nestles just behind the Miraflores resort overlooking the stunning swimming pool and panoramic view of the serene Mediterranean beyond.

The first thing that grabs your attention at Vista del Mar is the stylish interior and the wonderful view after which, of course, the restaurant is named. Sitting in the lounge bar with a glass of the fresh and crisp house white wine, picking at succulent and spicy olives was certainly not a hardship on a sunny Sunday evening.

The bar, indoor dining room and the terrace dining area all share the panoramic views, giving diners a pleasant outlook across the swimming pool, landscaped gardens and out to the sea.
And not only is the location that little bit different, but the menu is innovative and a welcome change from the standard grilled fish and mixed salad on offer at most beach front eateries.

The menu is not vast, but the dishes are all bursting with flavour, thanks in no small measure, to the freshest of ingredients on offer.

It is the a la carte menu, however, that really surprises with an unusual mix of dishes on offer, and great tasting fresh, flavour some dishes.

Following the success of The Vista's 'First Xmas' Season, we are proud to announce plans for this year. We have moved quickly to secure once again the services of Martin Joseph & Dave Lee, who played above themselves for FIVE Hours - Now That's Entertainment!

A standing ovation for Chef Michael was given and he sends his warm thanks to one and all. We are sure that the menu for 2009 will be of equal standing to last years, with maybe a few surprises.

Bookings NOW being taken (We have a few reservations already). Places limited to 80 to give everyone the opportunity to dance the New Year in, so don't delay!
